Trinamool Leader Killed In Clash In Bengal, Family Blames Rival Party Faction: Report

Bankura, West Bengal:

A Trinamool Congress chief was killed in a conflict between two teams at Beliara village in Bankura district on Sunday, the police stated.

Seikh Babar Ali, a former panchayat pradhan, was killed by miscreants early on Sunday after an armed conflict between two teams on Saturday evening, the police informed information company Press Trust of India.

Five folks have been arrested in reference to the incident, they stated.

The household of the TMC chief alleged that he was killed by the rival faction of Trinamool Congress as he was extremely popular within the space.

West Bengal minister and district TMC president Shyamal Santra stated, “We want punishment of those involved in the murder. I am inquiring into the charges.” He added that “Trinamool Congress never gives shelter to any criminal.”

Former minister and TMC chief Shyam Mukherjee met the members of the family of Babar Ali and demanded that every one these concerned be arrested.
