A buyer left a $3,000 tip for a single beer as a restaurant voluntarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The man walked in Sunday, ordered the beer and requested for the test, which got here to $7.02, Nighttown proprietor Brendan Ring wrote on Facebook.
Ring stated the person wished him effectively and instructed him to share the tip with the 4 workers who have been working brunch service.
As the person walked out, Ring wrote, he appeared down on the tip and “realized he left a whopping $3,000.”
“I ran after him and he said no mistake we will see you when you reopen!”
Ring stated he wouldn’t put up the shopper’s identify as a result of he thinks the person wouldn’t need that.
The proprietor stated he and his serving employees have been “humbly grateful for this incredibly kind and grand gesture.”
