Ahead of the ODI sequence towards Australia, members of the Indian cricket crew performed an intra-squad match in Sydney on Sunday. The gamers have been divided into two groups – CK Nayudu XI, led by Virat Kohli Kohli and Ranjitsinhji XI, led by KL Rahul.
Both groups locked horns in a 40-over recreation which was part of India’s coaching session. The BCCI shared a number of footage of the sport as Instagram story. The begin of the sport was interrupted by a passing bathe.
Luckily, the clouds disappeared quickly and the play resumed.
Rahul’s Ranjitsinhji XI batted first. Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal opened the innings as they posted 235 runs on the board. Rahul led the crew from the entrance, enjoying an impressive knock of 83 runs off simply 66 balls.
In reply, Kohli’s CK Nayudu XI chased down the goal with 5 wickets in hand and 26 balls to spare. Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill opened the innings for the aspect whereas captain Kohli performed a fluent 58-ball 91 knock.
As seen in BCCI Instagram story, Rahul saved the wickets for his crew, whereas Ravichandran Ashwin remained unbeaten for the successful aspect.
