All preparations have been made for the primary part of the elections to panchayat our bodies in 21 Rajasthan districts on Monday, an official stated.
According to state Election Commissioner PS Mehra, round 72.38 lakh folks can be eligible to vote within the panchayat samiti and zila parishad polls on Monday, for which almost 25,000 EVMs can be used at 10,131 polling stations.
Around 50,000 staff can be deployed for the polls, he stated, including that individuals will be capable of vote from 7.30 am to five pm.
Mr Mehra has appealed to the candidates and their supporters to strictly comply with coronavirus-related pointers issued by the authorities.
In the primary part, the elections can be held in districts of Ajmer, Banswara, Barmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dungarpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Pali, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sikar, Tonk and Udaipur.
The elections can be held in 4 phases with the counting to happen on December 8.
