33 secondary schools declared unauthorised in Thane district

As many as 33 secondary schools, together with two civic-run establishments, in Maharashtra’s Thane district have been declared unauthorised by the Thane Zilla Parishad, an official stated on Wednesday.

Notices have been despatched to schools, which have been labeled as unauthorised and managements have been ordered to close these establishments, schooling officer (secondary) Seshrao Bade has stated in his order.

These schools have been requested to provide compliance report back to the Zilla Parishad schooling division, the official launch acknowledged.

Of the 33 unauthorised schools, 18 are English medium, three Hindi and the remaining are Marathi medium schools, whereas the listing additionally contains two civic-run schools, it was acknowledged.
